I graduated from the University of British Columbia in May 2011 with a PhD in Asian Studies. Currently I teach courses on Korean literature in Keimyung University in Taegu, South Korea.
Courses include contemporary Korean literature in translation, Korean children's literature, the history, theory and practice of the translation of Korean literature into English, visual culture in colonial Korea, and the export of contemporary culture: from tourism to K-pop.
